TOP Star Endorsed Facilities

Child care facilities that have made improvements in their policies and environments in the areas of nutrition, physical activity and breastfeeding can become TOP Star endorsed.  Endorsement requires staff to have a minimum of six hours of training on healthy foods/nutrition, playtime/physical activity, and screen time limits and breastfeeding.  The endorsement requires managers to complete a self-assessment to identify existing strengths and areas where improvements could be made.  Facilities are awarded one- to five-star endorsement based on their policies and practices.
